dc.description.abstractDiz a sabedoria popular que, se algo é repetido com bastante frequência, algum fundamento tem. De ouvidos e olhos atentos, acompanhamos nos últimos anos a eclosão de um intenso debate a respeito do currículo escolar da educação física. Fato que merece elogios. Para além de sinalizar certa preocupação com o que se está fazendo nas escolas e com o cidadão que se pretende formar, chama a atenção pelo insólito, pois, historicamente, a discussão permaneceu restrita à relevância ou não do componente. Pois bem, se aceitarmos que experiências distintas formam diferentemente as pessoas e que qualquer decisãosobre a trajetória educacional é, antes de tudo, política,  teremos a explicação para as disputas discursivas que caracterizamo cenário atual. Afinal, o que está em jogo no momento é a definição daquilo que deve acontecer nos encontros letivos de educação física, em outras palavras, o que está em jogo é qual educação física ensinar.spa
dc.description.abstractPopular wisdom says that if something is repeated with quite often, some foundation has. Ears and attentive eyes, in recent years we have followed the outbreak of an intense debate about the school curriculum of physical education. Fact that deserves praise. Beyond  to signal a certain concern with what is being done in schools and with the citizen to be trained,draws attention for the unusual, because, historically, the discussion remained restricted to the relevance or not of the component. Well, if we accept that different experiences train people differently and that any decision about the educational trajectory is, first of all, political, we will have the explanation for the discursive disputes that characterize the current scenario. After all, what is at stake in moment is the definition of what should happen in the academic meetings of physical education, in other words, the at stake is what physical education to teach.eng
