| dc.description.abstract | Ambicionamos ser capaces de universalidad desde nuestro llano terruño; escribimos –como todos los hombres– contra el olvido…* Palabras Llanas evoca quizá, en primer lugar, al territorio orinoquense, pero el sentido que pretende es sencillez o llaneza en el lenguaje –su elemental sobriedad– una exigencia tan seductora como inabarcable, más cuando se trata de aprendizajes de un oficio cargado de complejidad como la escritura creativa. El propósito de no remilgar el lenguaje ha sido difícil de lograr. Tal vez, cual cabresteros pioneros se comienza apenas a desbrozar una senda que ojalá sea recorrida y consolidada por otros en los Llanos, labor paciente de ir tejiendo palabras que lleven a trascender lo meramente paisajístico para narrar auténticamente el espíritu o el efecto humano, contar desde la tradición o desde la experimentación audaz las resonancias del alma: realidades, sueños, ficciones y esperanzas. Pensando y practicando un lenguaje eólico, fresco, urdido de voces propias que no rechazan; sin embargo, las palabras foráneas, las somete a la criba del pensamiento inquisitivo, pleno de tigritud, orgulloso de lugares y costumbres, pero, con fehacientes deseos de confraternizar, hospitalario como los buenos llaneros, con todas las culturas humanas. Palabras Llanas es la primera compilación del Taller de Escritores de la Universidad de los Llanos (2016 – 2017). Pretende motivar a los interesados, sobre todo a los jóvenes, a compartir el gusto por la escritura como acto creativo. | spa |
| dc.description.abstract | We aspire to be capable of universality from our flat terroir; we write -like all men- against oblivion...*. Palabras Llanas perhaps evokes, in the first place, the Orinoco territory, but the sense it intends is simplicity or plainness in language -its elemental sobriety- a demand as seductive as it is unattainable, especially when it comes to learning a craft as complex as creative writing. It has been difficult to achieve the purpose of not tinkering with the language. Perhaps, as pioneer goatherds, we are just beginning to clear a path that hopefully will be traveled and consolidated by others in the Llanos, the patient work of weaving words that lead to transcend the merely landscape to narrate authentically the spirit or the human effect, to tell from tradition or from the bold experimentation the resonances of the soul: realities, dreams, fictions and hopes. Thinking and practicing an ethereal, fresh language, made up of his own voices that do not reject; however, foreign words, he submits them to the sieve of inquisitive thought, full of tigritude, proud of places and customs, but with a strong desire to fraternize, hospitable as the good "llaneros", with all human cultures. Palabras Llanas is the first compilation of the Writers' Workshop of the Universidad de los Llanos (2016 - 2017).
