A reproductive biotechnological strategy to increase the birth rate in Bos indicus cattle, and reduce the calving-conception interval is the use of fixed-time artificial insemination (FTAI) in these bovine production systems, this is based on the alteration of estrus and ovulation, however, there are cows that can delay their ovulation process and this can be reflected in low pregnancy rates. Therefore, the objective was to evaluate the effect of GnRH on the pregnancy rate in Bos indicus cows subjected to FTAI without expression of heat. Reproductive evaluation was carried out on the farm to 930 bovine females by rectal palpation and ultrasound, selecting 360 Bos indicus cows of the Brahman breed with normal reproductive organs, body condition between 3 and 3.5 (scale 1 - 5), body weight between 450 and 510 Kg and between 2 and 5 deliveries. The calves were separated from the cows, from the withdrawal of the DIV until the FTAI was carried out, and transferred to a distant paddock to avoid visual and auditory observation. The study corresponded to a clinical experimental design, with three random treatments, with a factorial arrangement, where the treatments were the three treatments for FTAI, a comparison of independent proportions was made between treatments, using a bilateral Z test, between all pairs. of treatments with the Epidat 4.1 program. The confidence interval of the proportions was calculated following the Wilson Method recommended by (Newcombe et al., 2006).
