dc.description.abstract | Imparfinis microps Eigenmann y Fisher, 1916 fue descrita con base en especímenes provenientes del río Negro (río Guayuriba), en la cuenca alta del río Meta. En este trabajo se llevó a cabo una redescripción de la especie, en la cual se incluyeron características de la morfología externa, osteología y morfometría tradicional. Se analizaron especímenes, depositados en colecciones ictiológicas de referencia nacional. Además, se revisaron ejemplares de otras especies de Heptapteridae, para propósitos comparativos. Con base en los resultados de los análisis anatómicos comparativos, se obtuvo una diagnosis morfológica que permitió identificar a I. microps, se actualizó su rango de distribución geográfica y fueron establecidos caracteres para excluir esta especie del género Imparfinis. | spa |
dc.description.abstract | Imparfinis microps Eigenmann & Fisher, 1916 was described based on specimens from the Negro River (Guayuriba River), in the upper basin of the Meta River. In this work a redescription of the species was carried out, in which characteristics of external morphology, osteology and traditional morphometry were included. Specimens deposited in national ictiological reference collections were analyzed. In addition, specimens of other Heptapteridae species were reviewed for comparative purposes. Based on the results of the comparative anatomical analyzes, a morphological diagnosis was obtained that allowed to identify I. microps, its range of geographical distribution was updated, and characters were established to exclude this species from the genus Imparfinis. | eng |
