The analysis of the mobility flow network of the study aimed to establish the dynamics and characterization of the entry and exit movements of cattle by sex, age group, department and municipality of origin and destination, and place of origin and destination. as well as the internal movements that were carried out in the Casanare department in 2019, through statistical analysis and the use of graphs generated with the Pajek® 5.08 software and visually improved with the Inkscape® 1.0.1 program. The highest mobility of cattle was at discharge with 92,166 animals, being significantly higher in the rainy season (Z = 179.7; p = 0.000), followed by domestic with 89,503 and entry with 31,771 animals; for each animal that entered in the dry season, 2.4 times more came out in the rainy season. The highest admission and discharge by age group was of males ≥ 3 years with 66.9% (82,900) animals being significantly higher than the other age groups (Z = 369.7; p = 0.000), followed by the group of males of 2 to 3 years (9,251), demonstrating the importance of Casanare as a fattening department for males. The highest mobility of animals was in September with 15.6% (19,323) of the total mobilized, followed by January with 14,134 bovines.
