| spa |
dc.description.abstract | Some bats and insects maintain populations in urban environments. Among the neotropical insectivorous bats Molossus molossus and Saccopteryx leptura they appear as species tolerant to urbanization and there are potential controllers of pest insect populations. Thus, the present work was motivated by the question: would the potential prey of M. molossus and S. leptura vary with the increase in urbanization in Villavicencio-Meta? To do this, I chose five places in a city in the Colombian foothills, Villavicencio, with different percentages of urbanization. Use light and discomfort traps to capture insects. With the help of specialized keys I identified the captured insects at the family and morphospecies level. | spa |
