    The echoes after the controversy that strikes up the attempt of the national government to cut-off the resources for science budgeted for 2015 has not ceased. The tension led to the resignation of the Colciencias Director. CONPES announces that the investment in science and technology will remain stable with 379.000 million Pesos for 2015. Nevertheless beyond the budgetary problems, Colciencias, the flagship of science, technology and innovation drags into its hull - That barely keeps overwater- a series of problems that keep it from proper navigation Colciencias' crossroads goes beyond the instability of its head: there are other obvious issues besides the impossibility of increasing its budget in the recent years:

    RESUMEN: Cuando nació la revista Orinoquia como órgano para la divulgación de los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas  en la Universidad de los Llanos, la pretensión del Instituto  de Investigaciones hace más de una década era mas bien modesta;  procuraba que la comunidad regional se enterara  de los frutos investigativos locales, con el tiempo, la proyección de la universidad sobre la región y su compromiso de asumir responsabilidades de cara a las exigencias de calidad en la educación superior han estimulado el mejoramiento de la  publicación como revista científico-técnica arbitrada por pares internos y externos, la cual fue concertando norma editorial para ser presentada a consideración del PUBLINDEX de COLCIENCIAS, fue recorriendo el camino y realizado los ajustes necesarios hasta su actual reconocimiento en la categoría C, esperamos continuar en ascenso y buscaremos llevarla a una categoría superior.

    Caro leitor (a)Em 05 de outubro de 2012 reuni use em Villavicencio: agricultores, empresários, técnicos, pesquisadores e estudantes de diferentes regiões do país para participar da XVIII Conferência de Aqüicultura, da Universidade dos Llanos. Com justificável orgulho, os grupos de pesquisa ligados ao IAll (Instituto de Aquicultura dos Llanos) apresentara mao comunidade suas pesquisas, neste representantivo evento, que se tornou na mais especializada reunião da aquicultura de tradição colombiana. Foi um dia de profundo significado acadêmico institucional  e humano, ao reconhecimento dos 18 anos do evento,  a Direção  Geralde  Investigação através Orinoquia Jornal junto-se atrvés da Revista Orinoquia,  cujo conselho editorial decidiu realizar um Suplemento da Revista Orinoquia dedicada XVIII Conferência de Aqüicultura, mesmo que você, caro leitor, está segurando.

    Dear reader, On October 5, 2012, fish farmers, entrepreneurs, technicians, researchers, and students came together  for a meeting in Villavicencio from different regions of the country to attend  the XVIII Conference on Fish Farming of the University of the Llanos. With justifiable pride, research groups attached to the IALL (Aquaculture Institute of of the Plains) presented to the community the results of their research at this important event, which has become the specialized meeting with the most tradition in Colombia’s fish farming. It was an academic event of great institutional and human significance. As a recognition of the 18 years of the event, the Direction General de Investigations wanted to add to it through the Revisit Orinoquia, whose editorial committee decided to publish and make available a Supplement to the Revisit Orinoquia dedicated to the XVIII Conference on Fish Farming of the University of the Llanos; that you now have in your hands to read.
