(Universidad de los Llanos, 2023-10-10) Becerra Xiomara, Maroly; Moreno Figueroa, Karen Minellys; Casallas Forero, Elizabeth
This study evaluates the influence of regulated game as a pedagogical strategy to improve the interpersonal relationships of boys and girls in vulnerable situations. It is contextualized in the Villa Suarez neighborhood of Villavicencio, in collaboration with the Alzates Premier Football Foundation, an organization dedicated to social work with vulnerable children. Its social relevance lies in its ability to improve children's social skills by promoting values such as empathy, respect and conflict resolution, within pedagogical and recreational interactions. From a theoretical perspective, it contributes to the implementation of regulated play as a pedagogical strategy to strengthen the socio-emotional development of vulnerable children. A qualitative approach is used from a critical-social perspective, using action research to promote participation and social transformation of the community. The results indicate that regulated game improves social skills, transforms interpersonal relationships and empowers vulnerable children. This study highlights the transformative role of the early childhood educator in vulnerable contexts and emphasizes the importance of applying pedagogical strategies adapted to social needs. Its implications are relevant for the educational community and those who work with vulnerable children in similar contexts.
