Así, el presente artículo tiene como objetivo analizar los aspectos territoriales que explican la diferenciación de desarrollo entre el sur y el norte del Valle de Aburrá. Se utilizó una metodología cualitativa con uso de herramientas cuantitativas, como la estadística descriptiva, la cartografía y la revisión de literatura. Se concluye que los actuales niveles superiores de desarrollo del sur del Valle de Aburrá frente al norte se deben a una mejor organización productiva, una mayor articulación entre los actores locales y su realidad empresarial.The development of the territories depends on a wide range of dimensions that go beyond the economic. However, each territory has its peculiarities and this also leads to different levels of development. Thus, this article aims to analyze the territorial aspects that explain the differentiation of development between the South and the North of the Aburra Valley. A qualitative methodology was used with the use of quantitative tools such as descriptive statistics, cartography and literature review.
