The following study was performed in order to investigate and learn as compensation systems used in micro sector between 35 and 39 streets in the neighborhoods of St. Helena and Madrigal Villavicencio are composed, since over the past years there has been a considerable increase in business establishments in this sector. According to statistics provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Villavicencio (2010), in 2010 the largest number of commercial companies of the last three years, was established in the city, registering 632 new companies. Given the theoretical foundation of the basic components of a compensation system, we proceeded to design an instrument taking into account the components of the theory, in order to be able to establish the analysis. The instrument chosen was a survey segmented into two parts where the first population census questions were set and the second where the components are given in set theory. It culminated in the processing of information, getting results and analysis of the components present in the clearing systems used in these enterprises, and compared against the theoretical foundation which provides.

The weaknesses identified are lack of staff education and strengths are geared towards population growth occurring in the region.

Likewise, the prospective concepts of different authors have been considered, reflecting that the growth of the companies is large or small, they will have to be based on an analysis of the situation in which they are, and where they want to go, taking into account components such as uncertainty, competition, globalization, consumer culture, technology and social trends. In this beginning of analysis the tool of study of the situation of the company is used, analyzing its internal characteristics (Weaknesses and Strengths) and its external situation (Threats and Opportunities) (SWOT). Thus, through the strategic prospective is that you can improve the current situation of this shopping center, so that the medium and long-term plans is to achieve market position as one of the best shopping options within from the Tula Tepeji region.
