In the rubber production systems established in the department of Guaviare, the age at which the trees established the appropriate diameter to start the production stage of scratching and commercial latex extraction is unknown, To solve this question, through approaches with the Provincial Center Corporation of Agribusiness Management of Guaviare and Sur del Meta (CEPROMEGUA), obtain the characterization of 152 productive units in order to calculate the growth rate of trees, evaluating whether edaphic conditions include growth to reach production in the areas of study. The data were analyzed by means of descriptive and multivariate statistics where the values of: average, maximum, minimum values, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation, asymmetry and kurtosis, Pearson's correlation and principal component analysis of the variables MO, P, pH, Al, Ca, Mg, K, Na, Cu, Fe, Mn, Zn, B, S and MPAP (Perimeter average at chest height). In addition, geostatistics combined with GIS technologies were used to explore the structure and distribution of spatial variability across the study area. The soils of the 152 productive units studied in the department have a very acidic pH and high aluminum content, wich cause problems in the availability of nutrients in the soil and consequently in the development of the crop. The MPAP was positively correlated with pH and in turn are negatively correlated with the iron and aluminum contents, the area where the TCA (annual growth rate) was higest is in the municipality of El Retorno with 7.05 cm / year. The modeling of the TCA of rubber trees for the 152 productive units in the department of Guaviare indicated that the Al content in the soil has a significant impact on this variable.
